»News from TENTE
For approximately five years TENTE has been confronted with growing plagiarism in many countries. Our patents are unscrupulously infringed above all in Asia but also in Europe and even in Germany our intellectual property like design is violated. Slavish copies are not only present in our industry. Above all small dealers try to flood the German market with cheap copies from Asia or Eastern Europe. For TENTE - as the market leader - this is not a new phenomenon. On the one hand we can feel flattered as we are in the casters industry the standard for many companies who try to enter the market. On the other hand this means also a certain threat caused by a distortion of competition paired with aggressive pricing.
For some years now, we have vehemently proceeded against plagiarism. This year we found a competitor on an exhibition and presented legal action, too. In foreign countries as well as in Germany there are further pending actions. Further on, we are working on several injunction orders.
Not in the least have we anything against fair competition - on the contrary, we search for it pro actively every day. We are aware of our leadership position in Europe and this is the reason why we will continuously fight against plagiarism with all legal means in the future.
